Operations Support Officer

At Territory Water Solutions, we have been a trusted name in the Tennant Creek, Barkly, and Roper Gulf regions for over 20 years. Our business is built on a diverse portfolio of projects and services in plumbing, drainage, and gas across the residential, commercial and maintenance sectors. We cover all areas of the Central, Barkly and Northern regions of the Northern Territory and are committed to delivering quality work on time, in some of the most remote locations. This role is based in Tennant Creek, in the NT.  

We are looking for an Operations Support Officer (Admin) to strengthen our Tennant Creek office. This role supports our Operations Manager, Lead Administrator and project delivery teams and helps take overflow admin load off our Lead Administrator so the office runs smoothly, especially during busy periods.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide day-to-day admin support to the Operations Manager and Lead Administrator (scheduling, meetings, action lists, follow-ups)
• Be the “eyes and ears” of the office—triage phone/inbox, route requests, and close loops
• Support the team with admin queries, documentation, and coordination
• Assist the projects team with project folders, document control, and admin tracking
• Help with travel/accommodation coordination and office logistics as required
• Pick up overflow tasks to prevent bottlenecks during high workload periods

• Calm, clear communicator who can prioritise and follow through
• Proactive - doesn’t wait to be told twice, and finishes what they start
• Confident with systems (MS Office essential; Xero and job management systems a bonus)
• Experience in trades/construction/services is highly regarded
